- How much blood is there?
- Your veterinarian may:
- Examine the mouth and teeth
- Make sure there are no foreign objects trapped in it
- Your cat may require:
- Sedation for the procedure
- A dental cleaning or dental x-rays
- Oral medications you will administer at home (pain relievers, antibiotics)
