    • Have you recently switched foods?
    • If so, what did you used to feed your dog?
    • Does your dog eat anything else, including treats and table scraps?
    • Does this happen more at certain times of the year?
    • Is your dog on any medications or supplements? What are they?
    • Has your dog had any ear issues?
    • Does your dog have gas or loose stool?
  • Your dog may need:
    • Diagnostic testing such as a microscope (cytology) exam
    • Allergy testing
    • Blood work
    • Anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, antifungals, medicated shampoos
    • An Elizabethan collar to prevent chewing/licking
